It is Hawaii's only Relais & Châteaux restaurant, and has earned Wine Spectator's Best of Award of Excellence for its wine program. Since 2024, Hotel Wailea has also held Krug Ambassade status, one of only 35 such partnerships in the U.S.

  • Yes. The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea is Hawaii's only Relais & Châteaux member, a distinction awarded to a select group of independently owned hotels and restaurants worldwide known for their character, courtesy, calm, charm, and cuisine.

  • The dress code is resort casual to resort elegant. Maxi dresses, blazers, and cocktail attire are appropriate. Beach attire and swimwear are not permitted.

  • Yes. The kitchen accommodates gluten-free, vegan, and other dietary restrictions. Mention any requirements when booking so the team can prepare accordingly.

  • Yes. Starting September 1, 2026, a processing fee will be added to all credit card transactions.

  • Yes. Hotel Wailea's adults-only policy applies to overnight suites, the pool, and the fitness center. The Restaurant welcomes guests of all ages.

  • Yes. The Restaurant carries over 2,600 wine selections and more than 15,000 bottles, the largest wine program in Hawaii.
